‘tiny furniture’ is finally streaming. i don’t know. i could relate, blah blah blah. sometimes life is a series of follies and it feels like everyone hates you or worse no one sees you and you think you’re in a “phase”. mostly i think this film is kind of a silly little film that is really well shot about a girl who is pissed and self-conscious and wants the world to eat it up. which i can appreciate. see it, don’t see it. whatever.

the chick who played her “new friend who shares old memories”, jemima kirke, was fantastic, though. she was like joanna newsom minus all the preciousness but with an affected accent and prescription drug habit.
